i spent christmas morning talking to my dad about how this used to be our family’s farm. now its a housing development but ‘steiner road’ is named after my grandma’s family (the steiners). coooooooooool!

today, in addition to redesigning my blog, i registered a domain address (www.jameshodges.net) in an attempt to become the number one result when searching “james hodges” on google. i have a myspace that ranks in at #2, but myspace is ugly, slow, and stupid. this is the beginning of a commodification process that will not end until i’ve become an easily finadable internet...
