The Review of Converge’s “Axe to Fall” (http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/13625-axe-to-fall/) contains an error— the review is incorrect.
Particularly onerous is final sentence in paragraph 3— “The face on the cover of 2001’s Jane Doe, the hand on the cover of 2004’s You Fail Me— they are the Black Flag bars of today.”
You can’t draw Converge’s logos in a notebook— author’s extended comparison to Black Flag is generally distasteful.
I am available for re-write or fact-checking on hardcore, punk, metal and related records in the future. No weak bullshit though, please.
